Other Upcoming CMD Events

The Gordon-Conwell Department of Lutheran Studies Advisory Board will convene at Gordon-Conwell in Charlotte on Thurs., April 6 at 10:00 a.m.

Ordinations and Installations:

Congratulations to Pr. Dawn Rister, ordained on Feb. 18 at St. Jacob’s Lutheran Church in Chapin, SC. Pr. Rister has been called to Salem Lutheran Church in Salisbury, NC. Her installation at Salem will be on Holy Trinity Sunday, June 11, at 4:00 p.m. Clergy are invited to vest, and the color of the day will be white.

The ordination service for Christopher Metze will be Sunday, April 2, at 4:00 p.m. at St. Paul’s Lutheran Church in Columbia, SC. Clergy are invited to vest, and the liturgical color will be red.

+ Christopher has received a call from St. Luke’s Lutheran in Monroe, NC. His installation service will there on Sunday, May 7, at 4:00 p.m. Clergy are invited to vest, and the liturgical color for the day will be white.

Our Savior Lutheran Church (NALC/LCMC), Dallas, NC, has called Peter Feige to be their pastor. Peter was ordained and installed there by the LCMC on March 4. Congratulation to both pastor and congregation!
