An assorted group from Mt. Horeb Lutheran (ELCA), St. Jacob’s Lutheran (NALC), and St. Peter’s Lutheran (NALC) churches—all from Chapin, SC—as well as a member of New Hope Lutheran (NALC mission start) in Ballentine, SC, and the vicar from St. Peter’s Lutheran (NALC) in Lexington, SC, will be traveling to Costa Rica this Saturday. We will be in country 2/15-2/23 to begin building homes and a new Habitat community in El Sabalo, a small town in the district of Biolley near Parque Nacional la Amistad (Friendship National Park) which is near the Panama border. Please pray that we will have a safe and enriching experience and that God will be glorified through the homes and relationships we build.
