Anniversary

Christ United Lutheran Church
A Mission Congregation of the NALC
The Rev. Ronald A Orovitz, Interim Pastor

In August, Christ United Lutheran Church is celebrating its First Anniversary. It was officially received as a congregation of the North American Lutheran Church on August 3, 2011. It had its first worship service on August 7, 2011.

In the early months of its history it was able to use space in another church in Granite Falls. In the latter part of the year it rented its present location on Duke Street. In the first year it had a ten percent growth, gaining six new members.

To celebrate the First Anniversary, Christ United would like to invite its Mission Partners, NALC Congregations in the area, friends, and other supporters to an Anniversary Open House on Saturday, August 25th between the hours of 11 a.m. and 4 p.m.

Come and see what the Lord has done for them. There will be BBQ and all the fixin’s, music, and an opportunity to meet some of the members and interim pastor.

If individuals or a group from your church are planning to attend, an RSVP would be helpful so that they can plan to have the right amount of food, and refreshments. Call or email Brenda Poe,   828-396-1400, or Pastor Ron Orovitz.
